Giovanni Govi, Founder/CIO

Prior to co-founding Theorema, Mr Govi was a partner of Gage Ltd, a business venture with Gabelli Securities, Inc.

In 1994-2000 Mr. Govi was an Executive Director with Goldman Sachs as an equity analyst in the European Financials team. Mr. Govi has previously worked with ING-Barings in Milan and with the Latin America Debt Group at Banque Sudameris, Paris. Mr. Govi received his Laureate Business Economics (Magna Cum Laude) from Turin University and his M.B.A. (Deta Gamma Sigma or 4 times Dean's) from Columbia University, NY.

Emanuele Minotti, CEO and Risk Manager

Emanuele joined Theorema in 2011 and prior to this, he was the CEO at Brenvey. From 2004-2007, Emanuele was a senior managing director and investment management committee member at Tisbury and a portfolio manager at Citadel from 2002-2003. Previously, Emanuele has been Senior Equity Analyst for European Banks at UBS Warburg, Senior Vice President in Merrill Lynch's FIG group in London and a Director in Salomon Brother's European equity research department covering European banks.

Mattia Percudani: Portfolio Manager

With over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Mattia Percudani has 10+ years of experience in developing and advising proprietary trading models. He has focused on large data modeling, which has been applied to trading, contributing to Alpha Capture programs and proprietary trading strategies.

In 2014, Mattia co-founded a crowdsourcing algorithmic firm that played a pivotal role in modeling aspects of the trading process. His background includes a tenure at Citi from 2006 to 2010, where he served as Managing Director in the Fixed Income and Structured Solution Group. Prior to this, he held similar leadership roles at Deutsche Bank and TD Bank Group in London between 1997 and 2006.

Mattia holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University.

Christopher Jacobs: Senior Portfolio Analyst

Christopher Jacobs has over 25 years of trading experience in institutional funds and in the proprietary trading industry. Since 2018, he has collaborated with Mattia Percudani to develop a comprehensive trading methodology for futures and commodity futures markets, actively participating in Alpha Capture programs.

Prior to this partnership, Christopher traded equities for various family offices from 2012 to 2018. In 2001, he co-founded a multi-strategy fund in Lugano, Switzerland, where he managed his own capital in equities. His career began at a U.S.-based single family office in 1997, following his time at Sigma Capital in London from 1995 to 1997.

Christopher holds a degree in Economics from University College Dublin.

Manuel Faccio: Business Development

With over two decades of experience in the financial industry in Asset Management and Global Markets, Manuel was managing director at DWS Asset Management and Deutsche Bank Global Markets where he worked in various business development client facing roles.

More recently Manuel was responsible for the Client Solutions EMEA team at iCapital, a financial technology company. He holds an M.Sc. in Economics from Bocconi University.
